DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ACCT-1000 Financial Accounting I

MKTG-1100 Marketing Research

MKTG-1005 Marketing Communications

MKTG-1110 Advertising

and

MKTG-2016 Forecasting, Metrics and Analytics

MKTG-2010 Consumer Behavior

Accounting:

ACCT-2005 Cost Accounting

COMM-1020 Business Communications: Listening, Feedback, and Presentations

Construction:

SURV-1100 Surveying Fundamentals

SURV-2100 Construction Surveying

CNET:

CNET-1050 Network and Information Security

BUSI-1500 Project Management

CIS:

CIS-2245 System Analysis and Design

CIS-2286 Internet Programming Part I

The ideal candidate will:

  • Deliver in-person instruction to EJV students in China.
  • Adapt lesson plans to create an engaging, interactive classroom experience with hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Assign coursework and administer assessments/examinations at the conclusion of each course.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recent relevant education and experience related to the course in which you are applying to teach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous teaching experience would be an asset.
  • Previous international travel experience would be an asset.

Employment requirements

  • Proof of credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal post-secondary institutions and/or their foreign equivalents will be required at the time of job offer.
  • If necessary, travel to Ottawa to apply for the Chinese Visa may be required.  Reasonable expenses related to obtaining the Chinese Visa will be covered by É«¶à¶àÊÓÆµAPP.

Classification:

Instructor as per Schedule A of the  and the PEI Union of Public Sector Employees.

Salary:

$39.23 to $58.01 per hour dependent upon education and experience

  • While travelling, you will receive a per diem of C$100.  The per diem is to cover meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and an incidental allowance.
  • Reasonable costs associated with international and domestic travel related to teaching assignments in China will be covered by É«¶à¶àÊÓÆµAPP.
